As a big fan of classic black and white films such as Rashamon, Lord Of The Flies, Psycho and The Seventh Seal, I drew on this cinematic genre for Wild Will, whilst also focused on the critical need to imbue my own voice into the piece. That said I couldn't resist a small personal homage to one of the greats. Wild Will's blowfly narrative is a shout out to the iconic final scene in Hitchcocks 1960 masterpiece 'Psycho'.
